Had to share this post on meditation. It was too good and relevant to pass up.
“If you don’t have a meditation practice yet, you need to start one,” my teacher said to me and my fellow yoga teacher training students. She stressed that it is difficult to be a good yoga teacher and not have a meditation practice.
Actually, I think her exact words were, “You CANNOT be a good yoga teacher and not have a meditation practice.”
Meditation is a big deal. In 2003, ten million adult Americans claimed to have a meditation practice, twice as many as ten years earlier.
